There isn't an easy way to protect data However.
there is one called Freelock and you can get it here and it is a Freeware program:-

This prevents most people making copies of your copies. Freelock runs from a deliberately damaged floppy disk. This damage is all part of the protection process. The disk can be produced by extracting all files from the flock10.zip archive into a directory on your hard drive, then running INSTALL.BAT.
Don't even think of asking for tech support on here as that would be defeating the object . Wouldn't it. So ask the Freelock guys or check on the link above. But be warned protecting data on a cdr is not easy most programs like this do expect you to have a basic understanding of programing! However this is one of the easiest to use.
