Hi,

Just wanted to point a mistake you made on the roundup with the Lite-on 40x, it does support Mt. Rainier!!

Hi,

LiteOn claims their drive does support Mt. Rainier but the actual drive doesn't! They haven't informed us if they will add it with future firmware update.

i would like to add something too.it's about the plex40,if i saw it right you have compared the tested drives with a plex running with firmware 1.00. i know it's difficult to test all drives again each time a new f/w is released but i think you should give it the benefit of doubt because the f/w 1.01 solves some performance issues.
and about that the DAE test i think you should try to test the extraction with plextools/plextor manager (at least for the plextor drives)

to end i would like to ask for a review update when the f/w that supports Mt. Rainier comes out for plex40 (that is if you have the time to do it)
