hi, was looking for info on dvd-writers and wow to my suprise this was here.
anyway i am a learning to pc`s, but do try to myselft to fix or break them, i usally fix other people pc`s or well they come to me. anyway thats why i am here, my brother got a dvd writer put into his pc.  samsung, it runs of nero express i think.
he can burn on plain cds but he can not burn anythig on to a dvd blank cd. he can not copy a dvd.
if anyone can give me a run down on what he should use his blank dvds for and a run down on this dvd writer is it the same as a dvd burner, why cant he copy, how or what does he need to copy dvd, any help will be great

Maybe a newer firmware revision and the latest version of Nero to help you.
