I have a GCE-8481b and it's max write speed is 32x when it's supposed to be 48x. I know that updating my firware is the only way I can fix this but I don't know how to do it and the instructions that are packaged with the firmware isn't in english and I haven't a clue what to do with it. If you could help me out that'd be great. Thank you.

You would need a firmware flasher (not so sure if the windows MTKFlasher will work)
