I have a prob updating my firmware.... I downloaded 5s5a.exe to update my firmware and it tells me that only firmware 5S50-5S6Z can be updated!! how do i update my firmware then??????????[:(!]??

Aha! Can you make a backup of your firmware and send it to me before you do any flashing? You must use mtkflash in DOS as described here: http://dhc014.rpc1.org/mtkflash.htm

After you have the backup the easiest way to flash your drive is to use FlashFix to patch that Windows Flasher so that you wont get the error messages. http://digi.rpc1.org
