Is there any news on this form of copy protection. Seem's a lot of advances have this and that they are just hard to bypass.

From what I gathered it's a cluster protection.

Any methods known yet to bypass?

It's a new protection that was created for promo and cdr promo releases only.

hrm, that's very interesting. Do you have any other data on it? it appears you're the first to encounter this copyprotection on the forum (or am I wrong?)

I think with EAC and the proper drive you could easily rip those protected discs

I saw a prerelease CD that used it so I did a search for xcp on google which lead me here. Also, i learned its from a company called First 4 Internet... http://www.first4internet.co.uk/ It doesn't look like it was too effective cuz i've seen that CD posted. Any one know anything about that xcp??
