Hi guys, I found this site in my quest for a good DVD-RW, so I hope you guys can help me out. I just purcased an OEM LG GSA-4160B DL DVD Writer yesterday, but without thinking about it, I didn't bother to check the system requirements. It says in the manual that came with it that it requires at least an Intel P4 2.4 Ghz and 512mb RAM, whereas my PC is a couple years old and only has a P4 1.5Ghz processor and 256mb of RAM. So, I was wondering if it is still at all possible to use this writer for most DVD burning tasks, or should I be making a return trip back to store? Thanks in advance.

For sure i think 8X would be possible, maybe even 16X if the system is idle
