Could someone provide me a link for the old incd 2.28 version? I looked for it using google, yahoo and others and didn't find a link.

After three days of sucessive un- and re-installations with versions 3.5191, 337, 3280, I just gave up.

I had tried many things.

I am using LG CED-8083B(4x4x32)drive with firmware 1.06.

Upgraded my nero to 5.5.10.0. Installed Easycd writer.

Downloaded and installed updated firmware.

Tried three types of media of different velocities (tdk, nashua and nipponic).

Made a careful cleaning of applications and the register, removing all references to Adaptec, roxio, easy cd creator, etc.

Turned off the autorun setting of the drive (automatic notification off).

Read a lot of messages in this forum and other like cdrlabs, cd-freaks, etc.

But I could not solve the problem with the 16-digit hardware error message [0051-0004-0009-0000] at 98% of physical formatting process or at the beginning of logical format process.

So, following the advice I took from
