I have a Pentium II running at 300 Mhz with 128 Ram on Win 2000. I would like to use this machine just a little bit longer yet still burn DVD's. These days it seems "most" DVD Burners require a minimum of 400, 800, or 1500 CPU as stated on the box or website. I have two related questions: 1. If the burner has burn proof software won't it successfully burn anything that is already on my harddrive? If not, what will happen? 2. With more and more tv capture cards having hardware encoders with a "pass through" or "direct" or "realtime" burning of a Dvd, I assume/hope/see no reason why not=that my 300 Mhz system should work. Will it or will there be dropped frames, freezing, or blue death? Thanks. bobbo.
