Is there any firmware that support 3500 to change dvd+rw to a dvd rom ?

* 2C8.bin (Second Official Firmware Upgrade from TDK Singapore, Supports DVD+R/+RW/+R9 DVD-ROM Bitsetting, Supports Ritek/Ricoh DL at 2.4X)

* 2F8.bin (First Official Firmware Upgrade, Supports DVD+R/+RW/+R9 DVD-ROM Bitsetting, Supports Ritek D01 DL)

Where to get those file & can i use them for 3500 ?

Ok, I need to update that page, the current v3 firmwares doesn't support DVD+RW booktype, unfortunaly

For RW media not. Only for +R and DL.

This is the truth, unfortunately.

I was also thinking for a 3500 but I decided to go for an LG 4120 which supports bitsetting for all.

Shoulda went for the 3500, as it appears it now supports RW bitsetting ^>^

The v2.F9 firmware seems to support DVD+RW bitsetting
