I used to own an Albatron KX600 until someday 2 month after i bought it, it just stopped working. lol
However Albatron is not a bad manufacturer and my KX600 was really good at overclocking.
Concerning KX18D it supports SATA drives, dual memory, it has the NForce2 chipset on it, 5.1 onboard soundcard, 100Mbit LAN,firewire...
Almost everything a m/b would have.
Only Wireless LAN is missing...
I haven't read anything bad about it either.
If it's not too expensive sure go ahead and buy it. It looks pretty good :)

Even haven't followed the latest trends at the motherboard area, especially for AMD cpus (mostly a P4 Junkie), Albatron has good reputation, but of course my choice would be ASUS, mostly for P4 area...

The second one has a Gigabit ethenet controller and supports the hybrid 0+1 RAID setup.
I'd get the first one unless the price diff is less than $5 :P

Whetstone is an FPU(floating point unit[part of a processor]) benchmark.
It counts how good your system is at doing computations like adding, subtracting ,multiplying etc.. large floating point numbers.
There are two types of Whetstone: the SSE and the plain benchmark.
The SSE is a set of instructions used to do simultaneous computations. That's why the time it takes to run the Sandra benchmark with SSE is much smaller that the time it takes for the plain benchmark.

Albatron KX18DS Pro II
nForce 2 9045 Dhrystone
3434 Whetstone
----- Whetstone SSE

So that means that kds doesn't supports W. SSE?

Not exactly. Athlon processors are the ones that don't support SSE instructions.
