Hi Guys.

I have just upgraded to V1.f for my CDRW FIE, all went well but in Nero V5.5.10.0 I have lost wirte speeds of 24X and 32X.
Has anyone experienced this or whether this function is not available with this firmware upgrade, because it was with the V1.d.

Hi braytak,
the FW 1.0f treats the speed just like the 1.0d did: I've checked this myself. You need to disable the Optimal Write Speed Control for your recorder. Before you are trying to invoke any Nero's function, from the Nero's Main Menu screen, choose "Recorder", "Choose Recorder" and choose the Yama F1. Now, expand the "Options" tab in the left bottom corner and disable OWSC. If you invoke any function (say, Copy CD), the choice of 24x and 32x now appears.
