I also succesfully flashed over 2.F9, with a third party flasher from http://binflash.cdfreaks.com/
(win32 gui version) just selected the K350GN8M.exe with that binflash, and it flashed just ok over the 2.F9

But the 2.16 firmwares are available from here, if you prefer flashing first to the old and then to the new.

Just grab the 2.17 from the sticky topics of this forum and then upgrade to 2.18
