Well,

I just get a IC7-MAX3, and y woder if it can hold a procesor with 1MB Cache "Prescott" " 2.8E Ghz.

Yep it sure can they are one of the best motherboards around for the Prescott !!!

Probably yes, try always the latest BIOS of the board
