Just wondering which of the drives would be more useful for me. The BenQ drive is $30 less than the NEC drive, and price is a factor for me. The only thing I want to do is burn and copy movies. I do not care at all about the speed in which this is done. Basically I'm just wondering if the BenQ drive will do what I need, or if I need to spend the extra $30

The Benq should be adequate, save your $30.

its looking like ill go with the nec drive
turns out shipping and tax from tiger direct come out to another $15 where newegg has free shipping
im betting the nec is worth the extra $15
