I have the K7N2 Delta-ILSR (SPP+MCP2-T, IEEE1394, 10/100 LAN, SATA RAID) MSI motherboard for AMD Athlon/AthlonXP/Duron processors.

From the moment I overclocked my CPU, which was a bad idea after all, I'm not able to access even my BIOS. The screen freezes from the very moment the PC starts.

What should I do to fix this? PLEASE help me and I promise that I will never overclock my CPU again !

A first thought is to play with your motherboard's jumpers a bit. There must be a jumper that can lock/unlock the bus speed of the CPU. This should work.

Check your motherboard's manual to see which jumper controls the bus speed.

Unfortunately I don't have the manual. Any suggestions?

Ok cockroach, it seems it's your lucky day today.

In the following picture I have circled the 2 jumpers responsible for the bus speed. Try removing the first and see if that works. If it doesn't then remove the second one. When you succeed starting your PC, load the default bios settings and re-insert the jumper(s). Good Luck!

You might also try pulling the one in the bottom right (right next to the battery). Just take it out, wait 5 secs or so and then put it back in. This should reset your BIOS to default settings.

@Leviathan, might you circle that one for me too so he can see which one I'm talking about?
