New version of LiteON drives testing utility is out. You may want to discuss the changes here, and if you will find any - post found bugs or give some suggestions. Changes in current release are:

- some driver changes
- new setup menu - unfinished yet
- an option to play a sound when scanning is finished (you have to select a wave file in options)
- tray icon status display (%)
- C1/C2 scanning with DVD-ROM drives
- automatic selection of SPTI interface when no IDE optical drives are found
- new layer switching method for DL media
- some cosmetic changes, ex. PO -> PIF
- ADIP write
-various bugfixes

known problems:

- doesn't work well with multisession CDs
- scanning CDs with any kind of DVD drive is probably not the best idea
- the program automatically sets the scanning speed for DVDs to max, so remember to set it to 4x

Polish users are invited to CDRlab.pl, official Polish KProbe website, where they may find the same information in Polish language.

As for now you may find a download of a new version here.

There are some serious bugs already mentioned Sobal, Karr should fix them ASAP

we know about those bugs and Karr received info about it so he is on it, give him some time to fix this.

Sobal, yes i hope Karr will fix them, we didn't mention them in public so anyone could take advantage of it

Ofcourse, I won't release it unless I got a permission. I'm not the one who used to release software without author's permission or knowledge as somebody mentioned in some message :) And yes, we were given a permission to put it online.

I imagine Sobal should had permission from Karr to release this code65k, why you have opposite opinion?

How about being able to load the .csv's into the program to display the graph again? Even if it can't display all the info that was once there... (like Disc ID)
