this is not a copy problem but i was wondering if this could be a problem
i have an LG 4082 in alcohol it says that it is 2:1 ( for those of you who know what im talking about - becasue i dont know what this is called but i know its realted to making 1:1 copies)
on my friends PC it says 0:0 -- has anyone encountered this -- would the copies made on the PC with 0:0 be inferior to the one that says 2:1
This is a common mistake. What it is saying is the setup of your drives. The first number represents the IDE channel. The second is the position on the cable. A 0:0 drive is one that is Primary Master. A 2:1 means it is the slave on a third (IDE controller card?) IDE channel.
A 1:1 copy means only that the disc is identical to the original, it has even bit the same.
