I'm burning the first video DVD right now with SOHW-812S. The media is Traxdata DVD+R 4x but it's recognized as Ricoh ( ) . I'm using Nero 6 with the MPEG2DVD plugin . After playing a little bit with menu --> go burn Series 1 of Sex and the City (4 my wife ).
Project is 4,1GB and the transcoding takes a little longer -- 3:30 hrs .
CPU utilisation : 50-70% , pagefile - 580MB .
Computer is HP D530 DU186 (cpu=p4 2,8G).
Running quite a few processes in the background and it slowed down a little bit (normal i'd say).
Till now everything seems to be OK ... i'll run some tests after the burning.
