Usually "patched" firmware offer more capabilities, mostly removing DVD-VIDEO ripping limitation and make the drive RPC1

The video riplock is one of the items removed, in addition to R/RW speedups. Because of the availability of region-freeing tools for LiteOn drives (like LtnRPC), region-freeing on the firmware side is rarely done for LiteOn drives...

code65536 i have a problem with a LiteOn 811S drive, used latest HS0Q firmware and riplock v1.0.1 doesn't seem to work, do you know this?

Edit: Problem solved, re-patched file and works like a charm
