INCD used to have a blue screen error (some vxd error) when I ejected.

So, I decided to update the proggy. Now instead of having the error, It just locks the machine up....gee thanks. Even if I just put a CD in it locks up.

Whats the deal people..

win98se, 900 mhx Athlon, 256 ram

That is the only one that is loaded now.

I got rid of DirectCD and the other Adaptec software because It wouldn't recognize the new drive...

so, thats it..just Nero and InCD.

I wouldn't use Incd or Direct cd, could never get them to work! If i formatted a cdrw would always crash my pc I'd leave them alone if i were you!

Cruez, I understand your frustration. You stated that you removed the InCD program, did you also go into the registry and edit everything to do with it out and then reboot? I have had similar experiences after removing software, and they don't remove the registery entries. If you haven't tried this, try it and get back to us. Thank you for your post!
