Is it that not every cd writer has the capability to write certain protections??? Correct me if I am wrong.

Well in that case can u people suggest writers which are the best for writing protected cds.

In my region i can buy these cd writers:
Samsung

Check the CCD supported writers list:
Acer http://elby.ch/english/products/clone_cd/writers/b.html#benq
AOpen http://elby.ch/english/products/clone_cd/writers/a.html#aopen
Plextor http://elby.ch/english/products/clone_cd/writers/p.html#plextor
Samsung http://elby.ch/english/products/clone_cd/writers/s.html#samsung
Yamaha http://elby.ch/english/products/clone_cd/writers/y.html#yamaha

It doesn't seem that any of these writers can burn SD2.51+ but if that doesn't matter than get a Plextor or the new Yamaha to copy protected audio CDs.

Most of these writers will write SD 2.51 with amplify weak sectors switched to on.

Not all writers can support SD v2.51+ with amplify weak sectors on. Read our reviews for such tests

Raw DAO-96 is 2352 bytes RAW Data + 96 Bytes P-W Subchannel Data. It allows writing of all subchannel information, including Digital Signatures, CD-Text, ISRC, Catalog Numbers, CD+G, CD+Midi, Gaps, Indices and Crazy TOC's.

Whereas,

Raw DAO-16 is 2352 bytes RAW Data + 16 Bytes P-Q Subchannel Data. It allows writing of most subchannel information, including most Digital Signatures, ISRC, Catalog Numbers, Gaps, Indices and Crazy TOCs. 2-Bytes CRC of the Q Subchannel are generated by the writer.

Basically in practice DAO-16 can copy SecuROM, *but*, DAO-96 can copy Libcrypt as found on some PSX titles.

Hi ashtwey
But the Page does also Quote that this list only includes writers that can copy SafeDisc versions up to 2.50xx so it does not Guarantee that they will do SafeDisc 2.51xx which is the latest Version and most of them won't without AWS and even then some of them Won't (Except Lite-on and a few others )!!!

OH ! Well that makes things a lot Clearer !!!
You will have to ask the Lads if they will have a Whip-round to buy you a CD-Writer that will support DCR = 1 so you can finish your Unbeatable Protection !!!
