Having problems with Clone CD, Running Clone CD version 4.0.1.10 on a MSI KT3 Ultra ARU motherboard, Athlon 1GHz Chip. Also using Clony v2.0.0.6. reads the program ok, then when it comes to writing I get this message. Writing to CD failed, hardware error: No additional sense information (4:0x08:0x03) This is driving me up the wall, any pointers would be gratefully received.

I suggest you use Clony XXL first to do the settings for Clone CD and use your Yamaha to Read the CD to an Image first to your hard-drive then Burn it with Yamaha from the Image with AWS enabled and also make sure you have the latest versions of Clony XXL 2.0.0.6 and Clone CD 4.1.0.10!!!
I hope this Helps !!!

Try to burn at lower speed (4X) for example

cd hardware error no additional sense information 4:0x08:0x03

This is what I did
Firstly this has happened before with my yamaha 2100E firmware 1.0N and cloneCD 3.I solved the problem then by connecting the crw to a diferent ide controller(directly connected to HD).Ibelieve it's worth a try.
Now with cloneCD 4.0.1.10 this happened again(the crw is stiill connented to HD)(trying to burn hitman 2-SecuromNEW).I did what someone proposed in a forum in order to burn Safedisc v2.80.010 .This is read the image correctly with cloneCD and clonyXXL settings. Then Rename .IMG file to .ISO and Modify CUE file to reflect name change.Burn CUE file using Burn Image with Nero(max write 8x + DAO/96).Seems to be working
If you discover anything else please post

just open *.cue with any editor(notepad) and replace *.img with *.iso.I dodn't own a plextor but I'm sure it'll work.I read in forums that fireburner does an even better job. Please post any results of your own tests
