Well, I did find a few other problems as well. Even tho smart-burn was disabled, and nero said it was burning at 48x, it burnt the cd a tad slower than what it did at 40x. The reason for this was it got towards the end of the CD, and it was almost like buffer underrun kicked in, but the buffer was full. I get the feeling that the media cannot handle it, and the drive is slowing down anyway. For the moment, I have flashed back to the orignal software, as I don't have very high speed media, and the highest I can burn at reliably is 40x, which is my burner's max speed. Be interesting to see if later firmware improves performance, or if nero do soon release a new version for the 48x burner. You must always push the limits, coz if you never fail, you will never succeed!
