I think it sounds like this: Avseq001.dat.
You know this is the video file in a Video Cd.
if i have only this file in my harddrive copied from a VCD, can i and how can i burn it as a VCD?

Use Nero or EZCD and when it is time to select the mpg file just select that .dat file. It will convert it. I nomally use NERO and then select the VCD option. Then drag that .dat file into the comp window and burn it......
