Use Nero to do a Full erase on the CDRW media.

Make sure you have the latest firmware for your model recorder.

Then use the Task Manager to close all programs running in the background, except for Sytray and Explorer.

Now use the latest InCD 3.21 and format the CDRW media, do you still run into this?

Regards,

Craig

Have you also installed VIA's IDE BUS MASTER drivers? If yes InCD won't work with them installed.

I downloaded version 5572 of Nero and 3.21 of InCD. I am running Windows XP professional. Nero runs flawlessly but I cannot get InCD to work. Each time I format a CDRW...the process completes normally. However, when I try to save data to the CDRW I get an error. The InCD icon in the system tray stays red and when I access the CDRW using InCD it says the CD is full...even though this is the same CDRW that I just formatted using InCD. I tried doing a full erase with nero and then doing a format...still no go...according to InCD the CDRW is full and needs formatting. So I format again and now I still cannot copy data to the CDRW even though it was just formatted. I tried InCD 2.32...same result. This is confusing...I used InCD 2.32 when I had the preview version of XP. So, why won't version 2.32 work now with the final version of XP? My hardware is still the same: LiteOn 24102B,Epox 8K7A,LiteOn LTD 163,512MB Ram,XP 1600 cpu, and the CDRW has the original firmware.

Try using DirectCD 5.10 and may I know why my InCD 3.21 is in Chinese instead of English.
