hi all,
I used BetaBlocker and made a copy of B&W with 12x Plextor. I can install with the copy but the game will not run with this copy. I still needed to run the patch. Is this the limitation?

Its a limitation of the Plextor 12x recorder. Use BetaBlocker.

I did use BetaBlocker. Is there a certain setting to copy to image and setting for burning for SafeDisc 2?
Who here have made a copy of B&W that doesn't need the patch and what CD-RW is used? Is it also dependant on the speed of the burning and media? Thanks for any comments!

Maby it is how your plextor wrote the cd, if the firmware is past 1.04 upgrades to the sanyo burnproof chip inhibit burning safedisc v2 discs properly even when Burnproof is off. There is a possibility you can downgrade to 1.04 (from www.plextor.com) if you look at the top of your drive there is a tla number if it is #0000 you can downgrade, if it is not you cant
