Yes, this was supposed to be an update, but in fact it's a full version!
No need for any Roxio software on your system, no ser.nr. required or anything.

This version is said to be fully compatible with W98, ME, 2K and XP.

Even if you're not crazy on packet writing programs, this makes a great present!

So grab it while you can, if it's a slip up by Roxio, they might remove it soon.

This version of directcd is great and have more feature than Incd.
I will use it instead of Incd due to it is Win XP compatibility and I don't like Incd Windows 2000 compatibility. Thank digi for this great Christmas gift. 555

GREAT FIND!

My friend bought ECDC5 (for WinXP, they had 3.5 before)
Having "played safe" after being told DCD 5.0 is unsafe for XP - especially if you have DVD.

How long will Roxio prat about before making it available...

TDK have an XP-Compliant InCD 3.14 (probably requires NERO to be installed)

Just downloaded that from http://cequadrat.com/driver/dcd_upd/DCD51UP.exe,
and when trying to install, get the following message:

"This Updater is for version 3.8 and 5 of WinOnCD Power Edition.
No compatible version could be found"

and the installation fails :(.

It seems, that they fixed the file, because
the last modified date of it now is 11-Jan-2002 07:17.
So could anyone put that earlier version anywhere,
or maybe it can already be found someplace?
