Using beta blocker, I tried some titles in Japan with YAMAHA CRW2200 recorders.
With some titles, I can succeed.
But when I tried "Sangokushi"'s image file drag & drop to beta blocker, the beta blocker's "Max Sector" field showed "-150" and
I cannot continued.
What happend?

BetaBlocker seems working with most titles. Maybe the tested games has a slight modified protection which confuses BetaBlocker!

does anyone know how betablocker works? is it really as simple as getting rid of the "weak" sectors? and would this prevent me using the backup cd on the net or when updating the game?

Is there any plan to update the BetaBlocker in order to cover
all the uncovered?

Betablocker does the job non-sd2 combatible cdrw's can't... it's correcting the sectors that have "parity errors". This means if your drive doesn't support error correction by hardware betablocker will correct the image for the drive.
