Is there anyway of converting a dvd to mpeg so you can backup to 2 cdr disk? I have seen full movies in mpeg format in 2 parts on 2 disks. How can this be done? Please help?

If you're interested in moving on from there the site above has everything you need to do virtually anything related to A/V.

look for DVDx utility and with it u can rip dvd movies easy .
this is the best utility i found for dvd ripping.
in this utility you don't need to do several steps like the other , but only
open power_dvd or winDvd2000 before u use DVDx, let the movie begin and pause it.
it needed to open the cd key of the dvd , and let the utility copy the frames to the disk.
