I dabble with
Ubuntu, but I am no expert at Linux and the last person you would want to ask for advice. While it provides a decent amount of things you can do and is user friendly, I find there are things I miss that I have in Windows (petty things really - iTunes, Photo editors I am comfortable with, video editors I am comfortable with, DVD ripping software). Still I dabble with it because it is interesting enough, but that is about it. I am not yet ready to commit to it as my primary OS... and truth be told, I put my Linux PC in the basement and since it is colder than heck down there I have not booted it in over a month or so.
