I need some help with my portable media player, it plays all the music on it fine, but when It gets to a certain music file "Royal Fireworks Suite" it crashes and the buttons stop woeking and the only way to fix it is to dis-connect the battery, put it back in, and turn it back on. This is definatly a problem with the music file I think. I think it's caused by either a corrupted music file, or there may be an off chance of the file having  its "kbps" set too high. It only does it with the one file,  or maybe another one every once in a great while, also It is unrealted to the battery because it has the same problem despite the power level. Can anyone help?

Does the file play on a PC with Winamp (or whatever Media player you use)?

It plays fine on my pc, but I forgot to mention that its over 8 minutes long and takes up almost 8 mb of space, could it's size inhibit its ability to play correctly? I'm going to try to run it through a music converter to see if that will fix it, right now its an mp3.

P.S. the other "working" files are also mp3s

Don't take it personally... Not a whole lot of activity here these days.  I've got other interests and kids... Don't stop in like I used to myself... Except to delete the shoe salesmen spam!
