From my old computer, if I typed my default gateway "198.162.1.1" into my browser as if it were a url address, I would go to a page where I could manually connect and disconnect my internet connection, but on my new computer when I try to go there, I says I need level 15 access or something. And for some reason the password isn't working... That is all...

You're trying to access a router?

If so, you'll NEED the password or will have to reset the router back to factory. Check your manual for instructions on how to do so.

If you're accessing the router, if I remember right, it should be 192.168.1.1 or something like that

Thank you very much, I don't know how I got screwed up, I just reversed the 2 and the 8. I've been doing this forever, I wonder how long I've been typing in the wrong number.
