I have an HP CD-Writer Plus 8000 Series, Model C4465-56000, Product Exchange HP C4465-60001/69001 and I need drivers for it. I can not find any on HP and this burner does not seem to exist. I would appreciate any help in finding the drivers for this thing.

When you say drivers are you talking about firmware? Because windows install drivers and you don't need any others.

Windows is not recognizing the burner. The Bios recognizes the burner and I can boot from the burner, but once in windows the burner is not seen. I pulled the burner out and installed a regular CD-Rom and I have no problems at all. I can only assume it is a driver problem once in windows.
