I'm using Nero 7.0 and having the skipping problem.
I have tried the MP3PRO.DLL fix and it didn't work for me so I found Nero 6.6.0.16 but it doesn't support MP3 and that's what I mainly do is to put together my own music CD's.

What version just prior to the 7.0 that will support MP3?

Other then Nero, what do you think of "Easy CD Creator" or "NTI" or such?

"ALL" version of Nero 6 support MP3....

Personally, I wouldn't wast my time with Easy CD Creator and I know nothing of NTI.

If all you are doing is burning MP3's to CD-DA, you might have good luck with iTunes. Another program I have used and recommended is ONES.

I would rather stick with Nero but I installed ver. 6.6.0.16 and when I tried to drag in my list of .MP3 files it gave me a message the it didn't recognize the format. Is is a patch or add-on I would have to install? Thanks, Debbie

Well, you may want to request from Nero the free LAME encoder pack, but you are not encoding... you are trying to decode. It should work for that after install. Is it an OEM version of Nero by chance or did you get it from Nero (boxed or online)?
