Ok

I have a PS2, network adaptor, HD for PS2 (not official sony), a HD enclosure, USB leads and a lot of spare time.

I don't have HDLoader....

Is it possible to format the HD for PS2 via my PC with the enclousure?
Can I then FTP in to the PS2 and send games to the HD?
Can I boot from the memory card?

I've seen that it can be done if you have HDLoader or Advance, but I don't have them. I do have ToxicOS from their site?

Am I attempting th impossible?

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

Yes, you can format the HDD from the USB enclosure via PC by using the Winhiip.
Please check my tutorial on how to boot applications from the Memory card (exploit), but you will need the original HDLoader or Swap Magic 3 or a Modchip….in order to be able to run a copy of FTP program on your PS2….
The ToxicOS can be installed only in PS2s with DMS4 Pro modchip…
