Hi. Im neww here so bear with me. I recently got Nero 7, and while Nero seems to be working fine, I get an error when Windows boots saying the InCD API could not load. I believe it is version 5.0.0.0

Here is what is appearing in the error log

092c 06:04:28 21:53:33:15 e=0. SetEnumErrLevel: errorlevel is 1 [Dflt]

InCDAPI2.dll, version 5.0.0.0 --

Does anyone have any ideas..?

I have Win XP Pro SP2, fully updated.

I have two DVD-RW burners, one is an NEC 3550A the other is a Samsung TS+1552B

I already had to use the no filters reg fix when I upgraded from Nero 6.

Any help much appreciated. :)

I don't want to disappoint you but just like you I always had problems with InCD. I unistall it and all my troubles are past.

I use Nero Burning Rom for my recordings.

If you don't use InCD (Packet Writing), best bet is to remove that piece of the Nero Suite. It is nothing but a headache waiting to happen. Just remove Nero and re-install without InCD.
