hi
ive downloaded some mp3's off net im trying to burn to disk to listen to in my car, using nero6, my computer plays the disc fine but car says disc error and cd-mp3 player says no disc. do i have to format disc or something? can some one help me out?

if the tracks i select to go on disk have windows media player icon in front are they automatically being transformed to wma files?

hi antonio;
not sure about the car but its 2005 model so i think it should, but my mini stereo plays cd's and mp3's and says no disk!
another thing i noticed when burning in lead in and lead out stages there was nothing in the read buffer meter? dont know if this is a problem or not!

No buffer for Leadin and Lead out, this is normal.

Does also your players support CD-R discs? I have many devices that are not.

How did you burn the MP3 on the discs? Use Nero Burning Rom and select a CD-ROM(ISO) compilation. Drag and drop the MP3 files in it and burn it. This should work.

yes my mini system supports cdr & cdrw disks and iv played burned disks in the car. ill have to go back to nero to check exact methods.

yes i selected cd rom draged mp3 files into it and burned. i am doing this in expert mode if this makes a difference. still player says no disc!

did you burn it as a multisession disc, and you haven't finalize it?

i have done both, and ive tried burning as mp3 and as data disc!

have you tried with different discs? What are they btw?

no i have not tried different disks. i will buy something different tommorrow and give them a go. the disks i have been using are tdk cd-r gold, 700mb 80min, multi speed disks. is anything wrong there. should i try same type different brand, or cd+r? or any other tips?

ok ive bought some new disks, verbatim cd-rw so atleast im not throwing away disks every time i try to burn, but still no luck.

No tdk shouldn't be the problem, those are decent media. I thought it might be any unknown brand.

i can see where its writen on the disc. it plays in my computer, but even still imidiatlly after burning while still on the nero burn complete screen i clicked on the disk information icon and the window came up with nothing.
? would it help if i described which operations and selections were selected?

start a new compilation in Nero Burning Rom, as below:




Drag and drop the MP3 files as below:




this will be a CD with MP3 files not an AudioCD.

yep thats how im doing it. also i bought my mum a new pioneer system for her car for christmas, i tried it in there & it flashes up track one for a second then changes to say cd-rom, has a little pic of a disk spinning but its not playing music!
