having trouble backing my copy up using pgc edit ,dycrypter and shrink anyone else having trouble with copy protection

If you already have a copy then there is no protection. You can use DVD Fab Decrypter to rip the movie and then DVD Shrink to process it.

i dont have a copy i have original trying to make copy after pgc edit removes crap i only get the last part of movie and of corse the previews it starts at 7.45 gb after crap removed it a little over 1 gb

I would do as Antonio suggested, RIP the movie with DVDFabDecrypter (It's freeware) and then use DVD shrink to finish your project off.
