My burner has been killing me tonite.
It goes to about 90% then fail.
I'm trying to figure out if it's a hardware or software problem.
I even tried burning at a lower speed
first 48 then i tried 32, same thing happened.

Software: Nero 6303
Hardware: Optowrite CW4802
Media: Philips CDR80 48x

Have you tried using a different brand of media?

I never had a problem with the media.
I've been using the same media for about a year now,

True, this could be possible, have you updated the firmware? Is this perhaps a "different" batch of media? Before drawing to a conclusion, we are trying to "assist" you in your endeavor to find the solution to your problem. Please remember, we only have the information that you have provided.
