I have WD800JB HDD ..
I dont know if my drive has a thermal sensor ..
my uncle bought a week ago a WD drive .. 80GB like mine ..
I still need to ask him about the firmware or the revision of the HDD ..
cause he can get readings of the temperatures of it .. and on mine .. I cant get no readings :(
do I have a thermal sensor on\in my wd 800jb hdd ?

From the picture you attached, i get the feeling that either your HDD or the used software doesn't report temperatures, is that correct?

I guess so .. :(
How can I tell if my HDD has thermal sensor or support smart readings of temperatures ...
cause on WD site I couldnt find anything about it :(
