I have a Matshita UJ-831S Drive in my Notebook Medion 95300 from Aldi in germany.Have problems to burn DL DVDs. Need to update the Firmware. Have found two Updates on www.RPC1.com, but both show me "drive is not connectet".Think wrong Firmware for my Drive? or what. Need a better Firmware. Can anyone help me?

maybe your drive is an OEM, did you try to contact the manufacturer of the notebook?

Yes have contact Medion here in Germany for this. But have get no help for my Problem. Try to change the DL DVDs was here meaning.

If you have a low quality DL disc then try with a Verbatim to see if this is the reason of your problem. But still a newer firmware might also change the behavior even with the one you got the problem.
