at the botom of the screen it has all the checks ive done but it says   Post New Poll.... how do i post a new poll??

That means you can't post a poll.  The things that are checked, you have access to.

Member status does not matter to me... I'm not getting a paycheck from cdrinfo.com forums.  I'm just here for peer support... If I need it or if I can provide it to someone else.  Information and experience are here for the taking/gaining (plus it's a decent escape from my real job - I often hit this forum when I'm at the office and my project team has gotten on my nerves!!!).

I've noticed, member status seems to be given by post count.  I choose only to post when I have something to say that is relevant and if I feel I can help someone.... or if I need help.

Anyway, it doesn't matter to me.  But for those that may post non-sense to get their post count up, perhaps you should simply take the post count out of the threads and only show it in a persons profile.

Experience, on any given subject, is not measured by post count.  It's measured by ones education, his ability to learn... be it by thinking things out to the right choices or learning from the wrong.  Just my opinion.  Easy for me to say... Regardless, I'm not the one making the coding changes.  I'm just the absurd one suggesting a more difficult change than the apparent easy one!!!

My suggestion, sometimes leaving things the same and sticking by your original decision is the best thing, especially during the stress of the holiday season.

The Poll function is anbled only to Administrator or Moderators, if a member has suggestions about a post, please post them
