hi...im a newbie

at all this stuff...i JUST got a dvd burner

and i dont know how to solder...and no one in my area has a modchip. I was wondering there is any kind of Boot Disk for ps2 that lets u play backups...i could live with that instead of soldering a chip and messing up. but then i saw this no solder modchip...does it work with backups? or just imports? if you dont know what im talking about, heres the link to the product...
