doesn't seem anyone has replied, so i'll ask first of all, you know InstantCD is from Pinnacle and is not the same as InCD from Ahead, right? but lucky for you i think i understand what you mean what happens is real mess if you know how to use your registry really well, then the solution is simple. you have to search for all instances of the word "instantwrite", without the quotes of course. even when the InstantCD is quote-unquote deleted, it leaves behind as many poorly written programs do, the residues of itself. if you give it a shot and still have the same problem, i can help you some more with a list of every single delettion, but it's gonna take me some time to prepare the list; it's not long it's just, you know, windows, system registry. ugh hope that helps
