I am so frustrated. I want to be able to use a CDR-W like a big floppy. I used to drag-to-disk function present in XP, but everything was read only...I tried everything to remove the read only but couldn't. I copied the contents to my hard-drive, erased the disk, did a full format of the disk...to try over. I tried then with Nero's InCD...couldn't get it to do anything. Then I tried Easy CD Creator 6's Drag-to-Disk function...couldn't get it to do anything either. Then I tried Instant CD-DVD...still nothing. I then upgraded my aspi in case that was it...still nothing worked. So, I have uninstalled all of my CD burning software in case they were in conflict with each other. What should I do now[?]

if you are to use a program such as InCD, you need to disable the automatic disc burning built into windows xp. Go to your system services, and switch IMAPI burning to manual instead of automatic, then reboot your system, and try InCD

I checked my settings and it was already set to manual. Any other suggestions?

What version of InCD are you using? Can you provide a screenshot of your error? Can you provide log file of the application you are using when you have the error?
