i have just bought a samsung ts-h552u DVDRW. I installed it in my machine, and now windows XP will refuse to boot. I booted in safe mode, but it only got as far as MUP.SYS.

if i remove the drive, the machine boots perfecly...

Any suggestions?

What else is in your system? I.E. hard drive (s) is the drive installed as master, or slave, are the jumpers correct ? Is it on an 80 pin cable or 40 pin?
