Have an NEC 3500AG and i want to know what firmware i should use??

I have 2.C8 now..

Please help

You can read... can you...? There is no best firmware... check the "NEC 3500 and OEM official firmware overview" for the newest.

Why modify them?? its all same anyway..Or??????

I never said they're all the same... I said the is no BEST firmware. If I would say a firmware that is best for me this would be subjective. There are a lot of different firmwares for different purposes.. and some are better at writing to some disc... other better for other discs (for some people). Some have bitsetting some don't. You see.. It depends a lot of this factors (and others I didn't mention) so that's why there is no BEST firmware.
And this question has already been asked a lot... just read a little bit other threads and don't ASK right away. In the end if the current firmware suits you.. don't change it.
Why modify the firmware... simply to allow higher write speeds. But this doesn't mean that modified firmware is better.. some don't need higher write speeds at all... as their perfer quality over speed.. so for them modified firmwares aren't better than original. Again a matter of perspective.

The latest firmwares are 2.FD and 2.19... as you can already see this in "NEC 3500 and OEM official firmware overview" thread.
