mmesh -> NEC 3500AG firmware? (2/2/2005 9:50:56 AM) Can someone direct me which firmware to put on my NEC 3500AG. I need the best firmware with working bitsetting for SL +R, DL +R and +RW. Mostly I burn on Verbatim +R and -R media with MCC layer. Thank You in advance!

Seems to me the 2C8 has one more feature than the 2.28 and that would be +RW bitsetting to ROM. Am I wrong here? Which would you choose? Also note I'm not worried bout warranty issues here so be brutily honest here Please. Thanks PS. I have much respect for your work/volunteering here that upon your recommendations I first bought the 3500ag last year and was very pleased with it, then this year seeing that you preferred the 1620 over the 3520 I bought the dw1620 and I must say - AWSOME!
