MP3Mogul -> LiteOn 1633S Flashed To 1653S (1/13/2005 4:22:41 PM)

I flashed my LiteOn 1633S to a 1653S utilizing CS09 Firmware, you can see the results below, which are not bad at all, considering I used cheap Prodisc R03 Media:

This looks better than the 1633S BS41/42 firmware that I had on the drive. I think I will leave it a bit for further burns/testing.

Opinions?

Looks good, how about testing other media too?

This media was purchased as Verbatim 4X (Movie Reel Tops), media looks cheap, and is identified as MCC 01RG20. I used Omnipatcher to change write speed, and this 4x media was burned at 8X with C09 Firmware (1653s)

As you can see, while acceptable, the PI is almost off the charts, and I don't think it agreed with this burner very much. This media was manufactured in Taiwan.
